Abu Garcia Worm Gear, Most 5000 Reels #5169

Has your line guide stopped traveling across the front of you Abu Garcia 5000 series reel?  Does it stick on one side?  This is the part you probably need along with the #5176 line guide pawl.    This worm gear and it’s bushing are easily replaced and will return you reel to like new condition.   Call or email for instructions on replacement and trouble shooting you reel.  If you are interested in upgrades you might want to look at a “Ceramic Pawl”,  Grade 5 or better bearings and Smooth Drag Carbontex washers.  Turn that Abu Garcia into a screaming machine!  Let us know and we can point you to the parts or do the work for you!
