Shimano #BNT2900 or TGT0295

Shimano #BNT2900 or TGT0295 Click Pin.  Shimano part number TGT0295 is discontinued and is replaces by #BNT2900.  These pins are used in several Shimano reels.  Most notably is the Tekota series that has a “Drag Clicker”.  This pin can be some what hard to replace in the handle drive shaft.  I have found that the simplest method is to place the spring(BNT2901) and the pin in place in the drive shaft.  Then depress the pin and spring.  Hold them depressed as you slid a tooth pick through the hole in the end of the handle shaft.  Push the tooth pick in until it firmly engages the slot between the pin head and ring around the pin shaft.  You can then slid the washers and drag star onto the shaft and screw it on until the click pin assembly are fully engaged.  Questions?  Call or email.
